The SC Chapter of the Sierra Club is seeking a Chapter Conservation and Development Coordinator to lead statewide conservation and fundraising efforts.  The Conservation and Development Coordinator is responsible for working with a board of volunteers to develop programs to protect and enhance the state’s natural resources and solicit funding to support the work of the Chapter.  Duties include development and implementation of statewide grassroots conservation campaigns, fundraising, assisting in development of a legislative program, implementation of conservation programs.

Requirements: BA/BS degree in Environmental Studies, Political Science or a closely related field.  1-2 years experience in the environmental field that includes research and organizing campaigns, press relations, public speaking and fundraising.  Must be proficient with computers and business software and have excellent communication skills.  Valid driver's license and some overnight travel required.  Job Description available here.  

Salary: $28-32,000 depending on experience and background. Generous benefits package included.
